Yet another clone of Threes has surfaced, but this time it is much worse. The app in question is named Threes Saga. It takes the exact same color scheme and graphics from the original Threes! game but released it as their own game. This is not just a clone it is an exact copy! Most cloned as just steal the concept and play mechanic, but this app takes the same color scheme. The email of the developer of this clone is com2wen@gmail.com. Please let the know that this is an unacceptable copy of the original game, and report it to the Google Play Store. Thank you for your support of original games!

Threes! - The Game That You Learn in Two Minutes and Play for Hours
While on Spring break I came upon Threes while browsing the Play Store. It had risen to the 5th or 4th spot on the Top Paid section. Always looking for great apps, I checked threes out, and loved what I saw. I bought the game for $3.33 (a very clever price), and instantly became addicted to the simple pastel colors and the endearing soundtrack. This game is perfect at balancing playability with difficulty. I learned how to play Threes! in less than two minutes, but I have been playing the game for hours on end. Each time you unlock a higher multiple of 3 starting at 48, you find a new character. The tiles interact with one another as well. If two 3 tiles are close by, they eagerly look at one another in hopes that you will unite them. I thought this was a unique and endearing feature to the game. I will link the app at the bottom of this post for you all to check out.
Unfortunately, many other developers saw the success that Threes! was having, and wanted to make their own version of the game. Just 21 days after Threes! hit the app stores, a game called 1024 popped up. It was a free game, and this alone would begin to take users away from the original app creators. For Asher and Greg (the two Threes! developers), having a clone pop up after they worked on Threes! for over a year and a half felt pretty crappy.
After 1024, came 2048 (makes sense right?). This game along with 1024 works exactly the same as Threes!, throwing in minor differences to make it seem more "fun". I've played both 1024 and 2048, and trust me, they get boring real fast. They have no soundtrack that makes the app fun to listen to. They also lack adorable characters that you unlock with each higher multiple of 2. There are no sounds in the game, just the sliding number tiles. It took six days for Threes! to be beat by 2048 in the market, all because the game was free.
Here's my issue with all of this. If you see an app that costs a few bucks, look at who is developing the game/app. If it is an independent developer (can't get more independent that three staff), and you like what you see, don't settle for a cheap clone. Threes! deserves much more credit and users, but because of free apps like 2048 and the many more clones of 2048 like 5's, the developers don't receive the popularity or feedback they deserve.
It would be a different story if these clone apps came out after Threes! was not very popular anymore. However, these clones came out DAYS after the first release of Threes!. The difference between a user downloading Threes! or 2048 was the price, no one is going to know which app was the original. This completely robs the Threes! developers from the user base they deserve. If people had known that 2048 was a cheap clone of Threes!, they might have not gone for the enticement of a free app.
Here's the conclusion: Threes! was released before any of these tile-moving apps like 2048 or 5's.
Estimated downloads of 2048 from Google Play: 5,000,000+
Estimated downloads of Threes! from Google Play: 50,000+

Introduction
Welcome to my corner of the internet. This blog will serve to find and compare apps that have very similar concepts, and to find the real original among the clones. If you have an app that you want to be analyzed, please leave me a comment and I will did some research on the app in question.
Before making any conclusions, I will make sure to do as much research as I can on the apps I will be comparing. This way the information I present is credible and cited. That is for the visit and if you find information here you like, share the blog to your friends!
